This listing consists of a General Electric Frame 5 MS5001K gas turbine generator package, originally manufactured in 1965 and commissioned in 1999, with a refurbishment completed in 2016. The turbine has an ISO power rating of 14 MW and is configured for distillate oil (light) fuel operation at 50 Hz frequency.
The unit has accumulated approximately 23,000 fired operating hours and 1,300 fired starts since new. Following the 2016 overhaul, the turbine has recorded approximately 2,900 fired hours and 400 starts since overhaul.
During the 2016 refurbishment, the turbine underwent maintenance addressing high vibration and excessive exhaust smoke. The intervention included replacement of combustion nozzles, combustion liners, and transition pieces, along with repairs to the hot gas path components. Operational testing was completed following the work, including Full Speed No Load (FSNL) tests, confirming acceptable operating conditions.
