Steel wire armoured high voltage cables are manufactured with compact stranded copper conductors and XLPE insulation, incorporating semi-conductive conductor and insulation screens. The construction includes copper tape screening, a PVC inner covering, and armouring using aluminium wire for single core or galvanised steel wire for three core configurations.
The cable is produced in accordance with IEC standards for high voltage power transmission and distribution applications.
