The Portable Doppler Ultrasonic Flowmeter DF6100-EP is designed to measure the flow of liquids containing suspended particles or gas bubbles using Doppler ultrasonic technology. The system determines flow velocity by transmitting ultrasonic signals into the fluid and analyzing the frequency shift of signals reflected from suspended solids or bubbles.
The clamp-on sensor configuration allows the sensors to be installed externally on the pipe, enabling non-intrusive flow measurement without cutting the pipeline or interrupting system operation. This installation method simplifies deployment and allows measurements to be performed quickly at multiple locations.
The portable design allows the flowmeter to be easily transported and deployed for field measurements, diagnostics, and temporary monitoring tasks. The instrument is suitable for industrial environments where liquids contain suspended solids or aeration that prevent accurate measurement using transit-time ultrasonic flowmeters.
