Description

A Solar Turbines Taurus™ 70 gas turbine generator package, manufactured in 2017, available for sale. The Taurus 70 is a proven industrial gas turbine platform widely used for distributed generation, industrial power, and utility applications.

This unit is configured in simple-cycle, single-shaft arrangement and operates on natural gas only, utilizing Solar’s SoLoNOx® dry low-emissions combustion system. The turbine is coupled via an epicyclic reduction gearbox to a 50 Hz generator, delivering approximately 8 MW ISO power output.
