The process includes both internal and external welding to ensure strong seam integrity and dimensional stability.
The longitudinal submerged arc welding method allows for the production of large-diameter pipes with thick wall sections, making them suitable for infrastructure and industrial pipeline systems requiring reliable structural performance.
During manufacturing, steel plate is first formed into pipe shape, followed by internal and external submerged arc welding along the longitudinal seam. This process provides consistent weld penetration and structural strength.
